Turkey bans ‘Jin, Jiyan, Azadi’ chants in Diyarbakir: DEM Party

Diyarbakir province in Turkey’s Kurdish-majority southeast on Saturday banned chants of the iconic Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Woman, Life, Freedom) phrase during demonstrations, according to politicians and media reports.
